COLLABORATIONS
PAUZA. / Collaboration with Ana de Ezcurra.
PAUZA responds to the clear impetus to explore the amalgamation between dance, sound and image. Inspired by life memories of those who, expelled by wars, are reborn, this project in collaboration with artists from San Martín de los Andes, Argentina, is an invitation to go through times of gestating detention in this multiple and scaled world that does not cease to sprout. From movement, stillness, sound, silence and visual images, we investigate in this performance project ways of living in a present that is interwoven with the pasts that compose us and the possible futures to unfold.
After an initial stage of research, we continue to develop a work format that will be shared in February 2025.

collaborations with PEDRO PRAZERES
Having as a foundation the crossing and interweaving of the creative processes of two different professions: landscape architecture and choreography, the core of the artistic practice of Pedro Prazeres relies on the relationship between the place, the subject and the ethereal.

ACT (2013-2014)
The massive return of the body onto the political stage is our motivation to artistically investigate the connection between the body and politics, the body and protest, rebellion and revolution. How do people in a protest use their bodies to impose their interests, and what artistic/ choreographic practice results?
Act is the result of this research.
UNCERTAIN STATES (2015)
Uncertain States thus gives the relationship between world development and subjective states of perception a multi-layered choreographic diversity that makes this simultaneously liberating and disturbing phenomenon mentally and physically tangible for the audience.
We both were engaged in its last production 2023: Zweifel

Through this project we bring to focus the phenomenon of touch, its presence, role, and place in a human life of nowadays. We live it in private, professionals and social situations, as human beings, as friends, as partners, lovers, as parents, as men, women, as girls, boys, as children and babies, as the ones acting, listening or receiving. Possibly the touches we encounter in a daily and life existence have much more varieties in modes, meaning and relationships.
Touch is information. It's physicality, intimacy, it's sensuousness, sensuality, pleasure, pain, vibration, wave, resonance, chemical reaction, support, yielding, resisting, giving and receiving.
But first of all, touch remains one of the simplest, basic and vital means of self-identification and communication.

designed for t^t∫ is a nomadic project responding to the specificities and resonances of the place where it is presented. It addresses the topics of freedom of choice, comfort and responsibility. It is an invitation to consider intimacy and a shared space common to both the performers and the audience.
The project has been made possible thanks to the support by e-motional residency program, Latvian Association of Choreographers, Se-S-Ta, VARP scholarship of Visegrad foundation and Teatr Pinokio Lodz as well thanks to all the artists involved.
