The Body is a mystery. The Body is not just our instrument, but our reality. In order to inhabit it to its full capacity and access its countless possibilities, we must first face the mystery. We must get closer and get into it.

espaciopropio.augenblick presents a space to investigate which looks for guiding us the of consciously discovering movement, dance and embodied presence, being one with our body while connecting with the environment we are in. Spaces in between the self's own and what is appropriated through experience, in between what can be natural, unique, unrepeatable and what is acquired, imposed or reproducible in the context of the instant, in the fleeting happening of a shared blink (in German Augenblick = instant).

Each meeting introduces an approach to the study of movement which does not involve mere strict technical procedures. It is supported by the evidence of a subtle transient sense of our reality.  We set off from the support of our deepest structure, the bones, towards an ever more comprehensive shared journey taking as essential focus the development of awareness and listening, the interrelationship between the singular and the group.

We emphasize how connections are established continuously on different levels. We work on generating energy states while looking for an efficient use of our body by means of concrete images and sensations. We rely on our capacity to observe and discern what is happening in the moment, promoting giving ourselves up and a sense of collective construction. In the process, we will pay special attention to the obstacles that hinder our fluidity as creative being.

espaciopropio.augenblick invites to a space of exploration and unveiling inspired by our continuing practice of Klein and Alexander Techniques, a space where questions are created, thoughts are stimulated and associations are found in order to liberate in the corporealities the imagination and inspiration to drive new, unexpected and challenging lines of action.

espaciopropio.augenblick is aimed at anyone who seeks to experiment and deepen their experience through the physical body: dancers, actors, performers, musicians, artists, etc. The encounters can be individual for those who wish to know and go deeper; and in groups in various formats of intensive workshops, meetings and exploration laboratories.
